Identification #

The back or dorsal region is reddish-brown, and the underside is grey or white, sometimes with a yellowish tinge. The throat and cheeks are white. The tail is brown and could be slightly paler at the edges.


Distribution #

The species is reported to occur in China (Guizhou, Guangxi, Hainan), Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its presence is uncertain in the Lao DPR and India. In India, it could possibly occur in Manipur.


Habitat #

It is recorded from mixed deciduous and lowland montane forests.
